Josef Nierling

Josef Nierling is Managing Director of Porsche Consulting Italy. Since 2014, he is leading the Italian office and puts an emphasis on successful strategies to increase competitiveness. Innovation, sustainability, global value chains and growing markets such as China are his areas of expertise. His vision for the strategic transformation of an Italian company focuses especially on people and enables holistic solutions along the entire value chain.

Josef Nierling is a mechanical engineer and has a doctorate in industrial engineering. He is of German-Italian origin and began his career in 1997 at the Fraunhofer Institute in Berlin. Before joining Porsche Consulting in 2006, he supported the launch of the common rail product at Bosch and started as financial controller for two main business units in Italy. Josef Nierling's expertise on global trends and developments is regularly displayed in national newspapers and scientific journals.
